Blister and clamshell packaging products include: clamshells, trays, blister boxes — also known as vacuum covers, blister packs, etc.
Clamshell (泡壳)
Transparent rigid plastic sheets are transformed through the thermoforming process into shaped, raised-form transparent covers that enclose products for protection and presentation. Also called blister packs or vacuum covers. Types include: single clamshell, double clamshell, insert-card clamshell, and suction-card clamshell.
Tray (托盘)
Also known as plastic inserts. Rigid plastic sheets are thermoformed into specific recessed shapes; products are placed in the recesses for protection and presentation.
Blister Box (吸塑盒)
These thermoform products have both a lid and a base. When the lid and base are connected in one piece, it is a fold-over blister box. When separated, it is called a top-and-bottom blister box.
Flocked Tray
Uses special material — a layer of fibrous material bonded to an ordinary plastic sheet — giving the tray surface a soft, premium feel to elevate packaging quality.
Anti-Static Tray
Like flocked inserts, uses special material with a surface resistance value below 10^11 ohms. Primarily used for electronics and IT product trays.
Production Process Flow
Plastic sheet → Cutting → Sheet securing → Heating → Forming → Demolding → Trimming → Finished product
